Corporate Social Responsibility
Parity Group is a good corporate citizen in whichever country it operates. As part of the Group's social responsibility, employees are encouraged to become involved in their local communities.
Here are some of the things our employees have been doing:
Movember

In November this year, a Group from Parity joined in with the global Movember men's cancer charities appeal supporting prostate cancer & testicular cancer initiatives, by obtaining sponsorship for growing moustaches. So far the Group have raised nearly £900.
Since its humble beginnings in Melbourne Australia, Movember has grown to become a truly global movement inspiring more than 1.1 Million Men & women supporters to participate, with formal campaigns in Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, the UK, Finland, the Netherlands, Spain, South Africa and Ireland. In addition, Movember is aware of men & women supporting the campaign and men’s health causes right across the globe, from Russia to Dubai, Hong Kong to Antarctica, Rio de Janeiro to Mumbai, and everywhere in between. No matter the country or city, Movember continues to work to change established habits and attitudes men have about their health, to educate men about the health risks they face, getting them to act on that knowledge thereby increasing the chances of early detection, diagnosis and effective treatment.
In 2010, over 112,000 UK men & women got on board, raising £11.7 million. Please visit their website for further information.

Young Talents Soccer Academy, Nairobi

In August this year, Parity's Pete Walsh and a friend headed over to Kenya for a few weeks to help coach football to children in the Ngong Hills, Nairobi, at the Young Talents Soccer Academy.
A lot of these children live in real hardship and the academy is in many cases what gives them hope for the future and helps them learn an array of life skills, as well as offering them a chance to really enjoy themselves and make new friends. Please do take a moment to click on the below link and take a look around their website so you can see exactly what the objectives of the academy are, as they extend much further than just coaching football.
