Parity, the IT and business solutions provider, has partnered with Lowe Consulting Services (LCS), the public sector-focused management consultancy, to help local councils transform their delivery of adult social care.  Together, Parity and LCS have offered services to London boroughs, working with London Councils and the Joint Improvement Programme framework for the personalisation of adult care services.

Parity and LCS have invested in understanding the full requirements of the Government's 'Putting People First' agenda and how it impacts local councils.  They can guide councils anywhere in England through the Government's mandates, supporting them in making the organisational and technical changes required when introducing personalisation for social care.

“Demographic changes and the need to create greater choice is a challenge for local government in reshaping services in England, transform delivery and focus on the needs of the individual,” explained Clive Grayson, Consulting Director at Parity. “Everyone will be able to choose the best care for their circumstances and requirements, and people can receive a budget to spend on the services they want and need.  Change on this scale requires a fundamental restructure of business processes, policy and job roles.”

Mick Lowe, Managing Director at LCS, said: “Every council in England is required to transform their adult social care services in light of ‘Putting People First’.  It is a massive and long term change and, as is so often the case, it is only once they start on the journey that stakeholders realise the extent of the transformation required. Our insight and experience can help make the journey smoother, enabling councils to deliver the best services to local people.”
