Programme Management provides a proven framework for managing portfolios of projects that deliver benefits to the business.
Many organisations and companies now accept that there is a need for a structured management approach to large projects or portfolios of projects. The current thinking is to employ Programme Management techniques. These have a relationship with Project Management techniques and principles, however there are important new issues to consider.
