Our values

Parity is additionally committed to making a difference in the community, adopting a charity each year, as chosen by the team (currently it’s Parkinson’s UK) and actively encouraging individuals to take part in our Volunteer Day scheme. Your career

Your progression and the fulfilment of your professional goals is hugely important to us. That’s why we created the Career Tree. Unlike a straight up (or straight down) one track career ladder, the tree comprises branches and boughs where team members can climb to other roles – either within their current team or perhaps a move to another division. This offers everyone a fair and equal opportunity for growth and job satisfaction. We’re experts at advising clients on talent management and – to practise what we preach – are passionate about supporting our own people in finding the right career.

We also run the Parity Academy – borne out of the pandemic as a way to help individuals from badly affected sectors like retail and hospitality to restart their career. The ‘Academeers’ receive recruitment training while working as a resourcer, learning about their particular specialism and gaining confidence. This equips them with the skills and knowledge to then progress to consultant level and beyond. The classes of 2021 and 2022 are now fully qualified, and we’re happy to announce we’ve just welcomed our latest tranche, the class of 2023.

We share gorgeous co-working offices in Edinburgh, which offer not only a calm environment in which to concentrate, but also rooftop terraces, cafes and comfy lounge areas, perfect for chatting to candidates and clients, or for some breathing space.

The team currently enjoys a hybrid model of working both from these offices and from home.
